A privilege to be at Te Manuka Tūtahi Marae – Mataatua Whare, to co-host a wānanga with AUT (Auckland University of Technology) research group, Atawhai.
Atawhai is a kaupapa that started as a research group from AUT, where practitioners in the health and social sectors were invited to unpack family harm and discuss it’s recognition as a key determinant of ill health.
The aim of the wānanga today was to build a strong network of practitioners in the family violence space so we can share and support our whanau and communities.
