It’s the end of our Summer Maara!
That means, as the cooler air and frost creeps in, we will see the end of huawhenua (vegetables), such as pumpkin and kamokamo.
Our Winter Maara are best to be planted now, whānau!
Shane will be busy preparing our huawhenua that flourish during Takurua (Winter). Rows of kāpeti (cabbage) and silverbeet that go well in a boil up and, Cauliflower and broccoli will be planted in the Maara.
