It has been a rewarding time for two of our nurses, Teena and Kohitu, who have for the past few months practiced tirelessly to represent their whanau, hapu and iwi on the Te Matatini stage.
Last week showcased Kohitu fiercely perform for Ōpōtiki Mai Tawhiti and Teena, front row for the now, three times National Champions roopū, Te Whānau ā Apanui, who last took the champion title in 2015.
Te Tohu o Te Ora o Ngāti Awa proudly watched on, on Friday as the two ladies took to the stage.
